CHALLENGE
To create and implement an application for promoters as a gamification element to increase efficiency when performing tasks. The product should meet the customer's requirements, be of interest for participants (promoters and supervisors), and build up competitive spirit between the teams.
SOLUTION
DesanGame is a game designed for iOS and Android. To progress the game efficiently, the map is divided into zones which are linked to appointed teams. In a certain zone, a player may capture a sales point (store) by placing items inside and making video in the application. If everything is done properly and a master (supervisor) accepts the placement, the sales point is considered to be captured, and a promoter gets points and trophies (to personal and team score). Certain actions can lead to various achievements. For example, when capturing three sales points within a specified time, a promoter gets the title of “superhero”. Top management delivers money bonuses to promoters basing on scored points. Every three days capturing of the sales point is set to zero and a player needs to make the placement from scratch. The application includes a news feed, players' chat, a map with zone division and marks of capture points, personal and team ratings.
IMPACT
Goldapp team has designed a product that fully meets the trends of game implementation in staff relations. Game and competitive elements allow to promote staff actions to a new level. Considering the average age of promoters, gamification is the best way to increase efficiency and improve staff motivation at sales points.
