Mobile apps and games
To develop an application for placing and displaying of various ads.
To analyze demand for the application, it was decided to build an MVP version (the first application version that solves one user’s task and has a minimum of functions).
Implementation included the following functions:
- adding ads
- subscription to categories
- push notifications
- adding discounts and promotions
When approaching a specified distance, the application sends a notification to a smartphone with information about an ad.
To implement this, there were added the maintenance support of geodata, beacons (beacons technology broadcasting messages to a smartphone via Bluetooth) and Geofencing (a technology allowing to create a virtual zone on a map and target customers appeared to be there).
As soon as a user was found to be within a certain distance (1 to 30 km) from the object location (whereby the advertisement was posted), he/she received a notification from the application with a photo and price.
The development allowed to test the demand among the target audience having saved the customer's budget, and to get a feedback from users to make improvements.
